JOURNAL TO REMEMBER,
JOURNAL TO FORGET
A WORKSHOP
THUR OCT 16, 2025
7 PM EDT
Journaling saved my life. It continues to save my life. It is my most essential creative practice—the one I turn to again and again. Journaling is not just a record of events; it’s a conversation with myself, my future self, and God.
In this live online workshop, we’ll explore how journaling can become one of the most transformative, grounding, and inspiring parts of your life. Whether you’ve never kept a journal or you’ve been writing for decades, you’ll walk away with fresh ideas, new techniques, and a renewed relationship to your own words.
WHAT WE’LL COVER:
✸ WHY JOURNAL :: the purpose and power of keeping a record of your life
✸ TYPES OF JOURNALS TO KEEP :: from daily logs to themed notebooks, creative companions, and other ideas
✸ HOW TO JOURNAL :: methods for capturing the mundane, the extraordinary, and everything in between
✸ DEVELOPING A WRITING PRACTICE :: how to make journaling a regular, inspiring habit
✸ THEMED BOOKS :: organizing thoughts for specific purposes (dreams, travels, therapy, memories, lists)
✸ PROMPTS :: short creative writing session
✸ Q&A :: bring your questions, curiosities, and personal journaling challenges
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Anyone curious about starting a journal but unsure where to begin
Lifelong journal-keepers looking for fresh inspiration
Creatives seeking a deeper connection to their work
Anyone longing to reflect, process, or dream on the page
This workshop will run approx. two hours online. Meetup details sent upon registration.
CHRONIC WELLNESS
A WORKSHOP
Live your best life, even on your worst days
I am not a medical doctor, but I am someone who has had multiple chronic illnesses and diagnoses and many strange, unexplained health issues since I was young. Because of that, I have developed a relationship with my body and mind that I might not have otherwise.
In this 2-hour live online workshop, we will go through how chronic illness is connected to identity; how to support the physical, emotional, and mental bodies; suggestions for daily practices that will not overwhelm the system; creative work and journaling to process grief and associated emotions that come up when dealing with chronic issues; and ultimately how to accept limitations and shift your mindset.
We will also go through a guided somatic healing exercise during the class.
my mission:
I want to save you time + energy . . .
because all we have is time + energy . . .
