I macerate herbs in alcohol for at least several weeks or months, choosing specific times based on astrological signatures. I begin on a specific new moon whose sign and/or ruler help to fortify the formula and typically “harvest” the finished extract on the full moon of the same sign or a sign complementary to the formula’s intended purpose.
